Mission Statement

Humor to Fight the Tumor aspires to be a God-honoring event designed to raise awareness of brain tumors, raise funds for research and patient services, and create an uplifting evening that will both educate and entertain. 100% of the net proceeds go to fund research and patient services through the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA). The goal of the evening is to share stories of people who have been affected by brain tumors, showing the reality of their existence, yet creating an evening of hope. Hope comes in the form of new treatments to fight this disease; a disease that affects the control center for thought, emotion and movement; a disease that produces devastating effects to persons’ physical and cognitive abilities.
